We are independent mortgage advisers offering mortgages from the whole of the market. This means that we are not restricted to a small panel of lenders and can therefore provide the lender and product best suited to your needs.

The company consists of two female advisers, Sharon Hobbs and Gill Clark, with over twenty years experience within financial services. We pride ourselves on our customer service and aim to treat our customers how we would wish to be treated ourselves.

Company Directors

Sharon Hobbs BA(Hons), CeFA, CeMap,CeRER
Sharon commenced her career in financial services with Alliance & Leicester Building Society in 1989, having previously obtained a law degree from the University of Trent. After an initial settling in period she trained as a mortgage adviser and underwriter and later as a Financial Adviser within the bank.

In 2000 Sharon moved to a local financial services brokerage as an Independent Financial
Adviser in order to gain additional experience before setting up K & S Financial Services Ltd.

Gillian Clark CeMAP, CeRGI, CeRER
Gill began her financial services career at Alliance Building Society prior to its merger with the
Leicester Building Society, having previously trained in accountancy. Following the merger, Gill was promoted to Chief Cashier before training as a mortgage adviser and underwriter.

After taking time out to start a family, Gill recommenced her career as an administrator with K & S Financial Services Ltd, during which time she requalified as an adviser and became a Company Director in 2007.

Our Service

We offer impartial advice, acting on behalf of the client and not the lender. We understand that clients' requirements differ and whilst many clients are comfortable with the mortgage process and therefore require a streamlined service, others may find the mortgage process more daunting. For these clients we aim to provide a 'hand holding service'. Taking out a mortgage can appear to be a confusing and stressful process and it is the role of a mortgage adviser to ensure that the confusion and stress is removed from this process.

Sharon and Gill will:

• Fully discuss your circumstances and requirements in a friendly and informal manner
• Provide advice and make a recommendation as to the best product and provider to suit your specific needs which will be confirmed in writing in a clear and easy to understand format
• If required, assist you in completing any paperwork throughout the process right up until completion of your mortgage
• If required, liaise with estate agents and solicitors on your behalf
• Keep you updated as to how things are progressing each step of the way
• At all times during all of our dealings with you treat you fairly and with respect

We can offer our services in person, by phone or by internet. We appreciate that some clients find it difficult to arrange this during normal office hours due to their own work commitments and we will do our best to accommodate individual needs.
